Improved Fitness

 

JeromeI love being outdoors and I do a lot of road cycling. Although cycling is an excellent exercise for the legs and for the cardiovascular system, it doesn’t do anything for the upper body. I’m absolutely bored stiff by static rowing machines, so I was looking for a solution online when I found the Rowbike. I was thrilled to find a cycle that allowed me to work both my upper and lower body while enjoying the great outdoors.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the shipping process since I live in the United Kingdom, but I had my own Rowbike within two weeks. Usually, I ride about two or three times during the week and have a longer ride on the weekend. I live close to Hyde Park in London, which is a perfect place to ride—thanks to the numerous fairly wide and flat paths and no cars.

My fitness level has always been good because I cycle a great deal, but since using the Rowbike, I’ve lost about 12 pounds and my waist is about two inches smaller! I can tell that my muscle tone has improved, too. At first, my friends and family were hesitant about the new fitness tool, claiming it was just a waste of money. However, their reaction has since changed when the physical benefits started to make an appearance.

Besides the physical benefits, I greatly enjoy how the Rowbike rides. It’s also fun to see the reactions from tourists visiting the Palace on a Sunday morning when I row by. They’ll have their cameras at the ready to take a picture of the Palace and see me out of the corner of their eye. They’ll be so surprised at the Rowbike, they forget they even have a camera. It takes a moment for them to recover and I bet there are some great pictures of the back of me on my Rowbike disappearing into the distance!

I am very happy that I found the Rowbike. The best part of the Rowbike is that it’s an enjoyable exercise that lets me enjoy the outdoor weather—and I feel and see the results!
