Push back your legs, keeping your back tilted slightly forward in a strong upright posture, with your arms straight and shoulders lose. |

As the leg drive continues with constant speed, the body begins to move back, causing the torso to add to the work of the legs. |

| Rowing Stroke - The Finish Lean the body backward with the shoulders just behind the pelvis, maintaining a strong upward posture and draw the arms to just below the chest as the stroke is completed. Important-do not lock your knees (just like in any exercise movement)

Learning to Coast one-handed The need to go one-handed may arise when you need to wipe the sweat off your forehand, adjust your helmet, take your nose or just wave to your fans. Practice in a parking lot. Since the power lever employs a shock cord/bungee cord to return the power lever into the forward position. You must keep the power lever from returning forward.
